The Rolling Stones: 50 Week – The band celebrate their anniversary

The 12th July 2012 marked fifty years since the very first Rolling Stones concert at Londons Marquee Club. The band got together in London that week to celebrate the occasion. The Rolling Stones: 50, a photographic exhibition at Somerset House, was opened by the band on th 12th July. Check out the set-up of the exhibition which took place on the 9th July. On the 11th July Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie met up photographer Rankin, who shot the band outside the Marquee Clubs doorway in the Rolling Stones own studio. The band then took to the Thames-side red carpet at Somerset House to officially launch the exhibition and celebrate their incredible fifty years together.
