19th Nervous Breakdown – Rolling Stones cover feat. Roger Holzheimer on vocals

Another one of my "youthful follies" which I recently rediscovered burried in the deeps of my harddrive: A punkish cover of the Stones-song "19th Nervous Breakdown". My dear internet-friend Roger Holzheimer once more was so kind to do some really great vocals 🙂 The footage is a remix of a video called "Shit alive", which was published under creative commons license on archive.org.

No copyright infringement intended. The Rolling Stones are an English rock band, formed in London in April 1962 by Brian Jones (guitars, harmonica), Ian Stewart (piano), Mick Jagger (vocals, harmonica) and Keith Richards (guitars). Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts completed the early lineup. The Rolling Stones raised the international regard for the primitive blues typified by Chess Records artists such as Muddy Waters, who wrote the song Rollin Stone after which the band is named.

JAPANTHER – 19th Nervous Breakdown (Cover) @ HOODSTOCK 2010

100410 – Oakland, CA So I thought I did an awesome steady recording of a full song from where we were on-stage. Didnt happen. When I hit stop, I actually started recording. I put the thing in my back pocket and rocked the fuck out. This is that video. Big thanks to Miguel, Manuel, little Ayo, and Joel.
