Reel Flavor – Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon

Looking for a delicious salmon recipe? My husband described this as "the best salmon Ive ever had". Why is it the best salmon ever? No its not because Im brilliant. Its because I put lemon slices underneath the salmon when I broiled them. The lemon cooks its way into the salmon in way Ive never tasted before. SO GOOD. Well, that and the yummy caramelized brown sugar on top makes it extra fabulous! So whether you love salmon or just tolerate it, try this recipe. You might love it from here on out. Ingredients: 2 salmon filets 1 lemon, cut into about 6 thin slices Salt & pepper to taste Glaze: 3 tbsp melted butter 2 tbsp Dijon mustard 3 tbsp brown sugar Plus a little extra brown sugar to top filets off Directions: In a small bowl mix together glaze ingredients. Spray bottom of baking dish with cooking spray. Slice up lemon and arrange 2 rows of lemons at the bottom of dish (about 3 slices in each row). Lay salmon filets over lemons so that they are completely hidden by the fish. Season with salt and pepper. Then completely coat salmon with glaze and top each filet off with a little more brown sugar. Broil in oven for about 15 to 20 minutes on high. Enjoy!
