the rolling stones – little by little – enhanced sound

"Little by little" was the b-side of "Not fade away", recorded on January 28, 1964. Release date: February 21, 1964. The first Rolling Stones record I heard, at the age of about ten years old. It was on the first UK album "The Rolling Stones", release date: April 17, 1964, and on the first US album "Englands newest hit makers, The Rolling Stones", released May 29, 1964. Guitars: Brian Jones & Keith Richards. Vocal: Mick Jagger. Drums: Charlie Watts. Bass: Bill Wyman. Harmonica: Mick Jagger. Piano: Gene Pitney, Ian Stewart. Maracas: Phil Spector. The song is by "PhelgeSpector" (Phelge refers to the song being a Mick JaggerBrian JonesKeith RichardsCharlie WattsBill Wyman collaborative composition), but it is an imitation of "Shame, shame, shame" by Jimmy Reed. Listen to "Shame, shame, shame" and you hear almost the same song as "Little by little"… though I must admit that – and I am very unprejudiced – the Stones did a much better job. LITTLE BY LITTLE (PhelgeSpector) Tried to trail you last night, baby, trail you in my car But I was afraid of what I was looking for And little by little Im losing my love for you Yeah, little by little I, found out you was untrue Alright, Keith, come on, now… My turn… Well I try not to bear a grudge, a girls gonna hitch a ride Things aint been the same, since my mother died Yeah, little by little, Im losing my love for you Yeah, little by little I, found out you was untrue ®© UMG
