Google Play: The Rolling Stones Part 3 "LA Live ’75"

Get "Its Only Rock N Roll" free :goo.gl In part 3 of Google Plays interview series with The Rolling Stones, both Mick and Keith recall the ushers at this gig from the LA Forum in 1975 wearing togas, which is a fitting image given the Caligula-like decadence the band became known for during this period. The grooves, sleazy enough to begin with, become even seedier in this setting, and you can hear the band indulging themselves throughout — "You Cant Always Get What You Want" lasts for more than 15 minutes. But the band has the swagger to pull it off, and Keith is clearly enjoying trading licks with Ronnie Wood, who joined the Stones as Mick Taylors replacement on this tour. Plus, ace sidemen such as percussionist Ollie Brown, and saxophonist Trevor Lawrence, and the inimitable Billy Preston help hold everything together — Preston even gets the spotlight for two tunes in the middle of the set. You can grab the title track from the album they were supporting, Its Only Rock n Roll, absolutely free, and purchase the complete set for just $4.99.

  1. "I once went to a party at Muddy Waters house and miraculously woke up at Howlin’ Wolf’s house. I still have no idea how that happened."

  2. This interviews were recorded in August 2011 for this release (what happends to with the official bootlegs "Brussels Affair" and "Hampton Coliseum"). So, this bootlegs were already planned to be released this year. My question is, are there more "official bootlegs" to be released by the Stones ? Thank you and soory about my english.

  3. The music is now an official download, and chances are, the show could come out on dvd. Pray its a blu-ray as well! A stunning tour with an imaginative line up & set list. They did like 25+ songs or something!

  4. para el proximo "archive Bootlegs" podrian sacar algo de la gira "Voodoo Lounge" en USA o de la gira "Steel Wheels" por españa…. les dejo un saludo….

  5. I’m looking to buy a guitar 100 – 400 swiss francs or dollars, that plays rolling stones type of music good and for a reasonable price. Also if you can recommend any online shops which ship to europe that be awsome.

  6. I just wanted to know if anybody can tell me how many times the rolling stones have gone platinum with their albums (1964-2005)
If someone could tell me it would really be apreciated.:)
