Made in China deals with the issue of Special Economic Zones (SEZ) that is being implemented all over the country. The movie is set in a small village of Pimpalgaon where Appasaheb Jagdale (Sharad Bhutadiya) is determined to establish a special economic zone. His political rival Kailas Shinde (Upendra Limaye) and nephew Mohit (Sandeep Kulkarni) do not agree with his decision. Mohit believes that modern agricultural techniques will save the village. It is hard for him to destroy his land for the sake of SEZ. Appasaheb uses his political contacts and powers to break the movement of Mohit and Kailas. During this process Appasaheb is murdered, leaving the village in a malicious mess.
Groundhog Day
Snowed in during a trip to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities, television weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) finds himself stuck in time, endlessly repeating February 2nd. His world is inhabited by the same people every day, but they dont know Groundhog Day is repeating itself. That gives him a certain advantage: He can find out what a woman is looking for in a man, and then the "next" day behave in exactly the right way to impress her. Luckily there is a woman closeby to practice on. Shes Rita (Andie MacDowell), Phils long-suffering producer, who has had to put up with his tantrums, demands and surliness. Gradually Phil is able to see the error of his ways and improve his behavior until, finally, a Groundhog Day dawns when she finally likes him. Everybody has problems these days, and Cheech and Chong are no exceptions. Theyre hired by Slyman and Habib to drive a limousine to Las Vegas, with $5 million secretly stashed in the front seat. In order to get there, the pair sell off the car piece by piece, including the seven~ figure front seat. Cheech and Chong then have a much bigger problem – Slyman and Habib are after them, swearing to kill them, after the appropriate torture. Say Hello to Yesterday (1971)
Jean Simmons is a housewife on a brief shopping trip to London. A young, unemployed lout (Leonard Whiting) who, seeing her on the inbound train, sets his sights on her, and tries to get a response from her as he chases her all over town. At one point desperate, he steals her purse so that he will be the one chased. Eventually, he breaks down her reserve and they are able to meet properly, converse, and get to know one another. A romantic energy has developed in their relationship as the unlikely twosome joins together briefly.
